I'm usually a sucker for the latest and greatest gadgets out there, but when it comes to my GPS, Garmin is making it very easy for me to resist the urge to upgrade.
The same day it hits the blogosphere that the newer nuvi 765 units have a firmware flaw that render the units unusable, I read that the upgraded version of the Garmin friction mount slimes your dashboard in the hot weather.
Guess for the time being I'll be sticking with my now-obsolete nuvi 760 on the old-fashioned beanbag mount.
