AP news reader for Blackberry

One of my favorite Blackberry apps is the Wall Street Journal mobile reader. I just recently found the AP News mobile reader, which appears to be very similar (probably from the same developers) to the WSJ application. The AP News reader looks like it's actually formatted for a taller screen, such as the Storm.

Just remember to shut these news reader apps down when you're done with them, as the constant polling for new articles will drain your battery.

It may be formatted for a taller screen, such as the storm, but it doesn't actually work for the storm. The only way to get it to work is to enable "compatibility mode," which forces the onscreen keyboard to show and blocks most of that taller screen. For now I guess I'll stick with the WSJ reader and Viigo.

Also, when I go to the AP News site from my storm, it says

"version 2.5.2 for blackberry 9350 OS 4.7.0.75" at the top, but then gives me a link that says "install AP Mobile News, Blackberry OS 4.2.1"

That's a shame. So you're stuck with the same limited interface as us "legacy" BB users.

I don't know about you, but I don't find this view nearly as useful as this one.
