Where do the good cellphones go?

Ross and I both used to have a Kyocera 3035 cellphone from Verizon. I think we both agree that it was a great phone...especially compared to Ross' crappy Motorolas.

Stephanie and I were in Marc's this weekend and I happened upon the following display:

A bunch of Kyocera 3035's for $1.99 / piece. The entire box is in Spanish and the sign says that they're "Emergency Cell Phones" but it's good to see that the 3035 is still going strong :-)

BTW...I hate Marc's. Worst store ever.

Ah the 3035. That was/is a great phone. Dials 911 only? Does that just mean that they're not activated through a wireless carrier?

What's so bad about Marc's? My roommate loves that place.

Reason's that I hate Marc's:

1) Isles that go nowhere. The Lorain Marc's decided it would be a good idea to put a display at the end of the isle. Completely blocking off exit...you get all the way to the end of the isle, you have to turn around and go back.

2) Separation of food and poison. The Solon Marc's keeps their pesticides in the same isle as snack foods. Whoops...that wasn't a can of Pringle's.

3) Disorganized. You can't just know where things are. They seem to drop product wherever they can find a bit of shelf space.

4) Cleanliness. Worse than a Dollar Store. Not sure how much I trust food from Marc's.

Other than that stuff...it's a fantastic store! ;-)
