When my electric blanket stopped working a few days ago, I checked to make sure it was plugged in and found this:
The wiring burned through the casing and scorched the blanket. Luckily the fabric wasn't flammable...
By the way...May and Federated are back in merger talks...so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

That's why I've always been hesitant to use an electric blanket.
Warmth = Good
Dying in a fiery inferno = Bad
Yes, it was your hand-me-down. So that's why you stopped using it, huh? The threat of a fiery death prompted you to get a new blanket? ;-) j/k
